i have a 1968 german semi auto and would like to fit 5 retractable belts

where to buy the belts =/- brackets to fit would be useful info as well
cheers
I've never seen 5 belts fitted to a bug, but I don't think it is possible to get belts in the middle at the back...
I have seen others with retractable front seats, that you can even get in the vintage style buckles

with the help of a fabricator mate we were hoping to fit the retractable belts - may require a dummy bar above and behind the back seat for the middle
belt ??
thanks for the link
for seatbelts made in austalia and adr approved ,as for buying from overseas the may not be approved for use in australia

I have fitted a set of Klippan to the front. Any auto part shop can get them. I think around $95 each.

Thought i would just pop in and say on the 68's the seatbelts wernt fitted to the back from stock. (especially in the german 68's like the
semi-autos) So legally you are not required to have belts in the back.

cheers eraser
i would like to secure the kids in the back without staples - sooo plan to embark on some engineering and fabrication through my good friend Tim the
metal magician - photos when done in the next couple of months
the car currently has what look like original single point shoulder strap belts *4
If you get a chance drop past any panel beater that does older cars or Japanese imports. They will do loads of retractables to Aust std's and should
be able to give you a few tips.
