I have unloaded the car out of the trailer last Friday , removed the engine and dismantled it for an inspection last weekend . All looks good so I have re-assembled the engine and re-installed it and I have entered the Test day this Saturday . This will be the first 1/4 mile run for the new car so I will see how it goes with the new throttle shaft I broke @ Warwick . Dave and Mike with the LMS car will also be there so it may be a worth a look if you are doing nothing better . Gates open @ 9.00 am , racing from 11.00 am until 8.00 pm with a $ 20 entry charge . I hope to see a few VW enthusiasts there , ROD.

Mike and Dave are happy. They had three runs with a few issues, however managed a 10.1 @ 141mph on the third run. They were looking for a 9 on the fourth, with a good track and temps. Miike however had to shut it down after detecting a noise during the burn-out. Turned out the super charger was lifting off.

Mike got some gopro footage so hopefully he can work out how to upload it!
