What Do I Have?

Well I'm glad you asked.

This is a VW air cooled transmission plug tool
This handy tool is used on the 17mm transmission side filler plug and drain plugs.
It’s just the thing for that stubborn side plug. If you have ever used a normal Allan key on a VW you will know that the short end is to long and the long end is to short for the job at hand.
With this tool it fits the side plug easily in between the trans and the chassis and the long end gives plenty of leverage
So…….when was the last time you checked your transmission oil ?
