VW high-performance vented brake kits for sale at Nambucca Spectacular

Hi all, I will have my super-duper Street Maniac front and rear brake kits at Valla if anyone wants a look or wishes to buy. Fronts (287x24 vented and slotted) $1500 with brand new calipers and pads (as pictured) or $1250 no calipers (so you can use second-hand/rebuilt).

Rears 287x15mm slotted ('Stage 2') $1100
I also hope to have some 'Stage 1' rears 260x10 non-slotted there, too - $880. Perfect with standard Beetle front discs.

I will be in the campground at Valla

I too want big ass brakes for my van. Was looking into brakes off a monaro. Big discs and calipers to fit inside a 17" rim. Advantage would be aftermarket rotors etc are readily available and cheap.

But if you do want to do big brakes for a bay vented and slotted front and rear please with big calipers and big pads!! I want to stop quick from high speeds without having to push through the floor. LOL

Yeah, i have a pair of Nissan Skyline 4 pot alloy calipers & was looking at the Porsche rotors, so maybe i can work something out with this lot

I did a rear disc conversion on my old Alloy V8 off road buggy years ago & fitted Leyland p76 front discs onto the back of it, i should be able to sort something similar for the DC

I`ll get my gearbox sorted first tho

VWCOOL< thanks for the PM with your help tho, much appreciated.
& Brennden, i`ll let you know how i get on with the idea i have with the big brakes once it`s sorted.

I looked at the Jap-import Nissan/WRX/RX-7 calipers when developing the big Beetle brakes but I wanted all the parts to be available 'new' and not be too expensive for rebuild kits and pads. Plus their opposing piston design (size) would have required a wheel track change

bumpsies
