Just cut it up and make your BBQ It's only a potential buggy
anyway so you might as well make something you can cook food in!!! There are still millions of these things rusting away in paddocks....

Blimey, talk about letting it go up....!!!
I've had 2 VW fires in my life....both managed to put out.
My 69 bus went up like this one did....only noticed it when smoke started pouring through the heater vents inside.
Went round the back...fire was about as big as the one in the start of the vid. T shirt off....bit of dousing....drove it home.
I reckon the fire in this one must have been tiny to begin with...as to get out and start filming it must have been a good 2 or so minutes...

There was a bloke on Trading Post that had made a couch, fish tank, bar and BBQ out of beetles
Damn fine bits of work - pricey though
