Do you need to align cv joints on a irs beetle ?. If so how does every one do it.Thanx

Yeah, the CV's on either end of the axle should be "clocked" to get the best life out of them.

Well I hadn't heard of clocking CV Joints before and looked it up and they only really need to be clocked when maximum travel is required like on a BAJA beetle or buggy used on sand dunes etc...
Normal cars don't need to be clocked... IMHO..

I'm not going to worry about clocking My CV joints..

just make sure they are packed full of Lithium based MOLY grease and use gloves and plenty of paper towels..
