Back after many years


Allways on the look out for an old dub, its been many years since ive owned one and the other week :crazy: here she is waiting for someone to get her out of the grass..

It would be late 1960. 36hp, manual [cable] choke, split-case gearbox, 50/50 tail lights, clear, narrow front blinkers, baked enamel [Alabaster?], push-button door handles, etc.

Just needs a few bits, a tidy-up, and the mower run 'round the inside. :yes:




I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

The paint is pretty faded...it could be Mango Green, as you say. If it is, late 1960 for sure. Mango Green came out around July, 1960. Yep, should be 36hp. :yes:

I had a Mango Green, July, 1960. Good car. My Dad bought it new.
