Depending on what you are towing check the weight limits. Hayman Reese are only good for box trailers.



I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!:lol:

I have a really big one here that is part of a custom bumper, but as you said it is all custom so would a quite a bit dearer than the off the shelf units

Make sure that it uses the genuine mounting holes then. The four bumper bracket mounts plus the two further forward.
