yes they were pretty easy to fit the frames
the hard part is fitting the glass in the frames

easy just push them hard up against the window frame/rubber directly under the latches on the frame mark and drill
with the centre hinge support i drilled two holes in the centre and welded it to the centre piller from the holes
much neater then welding around it,
would be even neater if i painted it better do that soon i think:duh

We cut the drivers sill out today, inner and outer.. THe inner was ok not rusty, and the outer was repairable.. but i have repair panels so why not just go that little bit further hey?

and from the outside.. we are going to shaev a little bit more off the sill .. make it neater and straighter too. The repair panel comes up fairly high. We found a spark plug in amongst a few kilos of mud/bog in the sill.

Tim,

I think you should trim down the repair panel to match the car, rather than trimming the car to match the panel. That way if you screw it up (or need to put another panel in down the track), you just cut up a bit further and put a new panel in. I've got the sills to do on my splitty soon!
