Kombi wanted
Hi all, new to VeeDubbers.
I'm going to sell my daily driver because it's just too thirsty:
I've always wanted a Kombi, and would really appreciate anyone pointing me in the direction of a fairly complete (i.e. no major repairs/faults) Kombi
for around $3000-$6000.
I'm in Melbourne at the moment and will put my car up for sale in about two weeks, and will start looking then.
All help much appreciated.

I wouldn't expect a kombi to use much less fuel than your current vehicle.

Sorry what I mean is, if that is your main reason for getting a kombi, it is not a significant one. The fact a kombi is sooooooo cool is a very good
reason. Cheers

hmm... tempting.. although i'm not sure how much time I'll have to work on it until a little later, so I think I'd prefer a pretty complete one

After 18 months of driving round Oz our beloved van is for sale.
We bought her in Ballarat and are now in Brisbane. She will be for sale on the 20th of July 2006 as that is when the lease on our flat ends. We have
stopped to make some money to carry on our trip but my drivers licence runs out in June and I have to return home to get it renewed. She is in the
process of being painted with two pot paint. She has had the roof and pop top painted white with two pot with the body to follow in the origonal
