Super Shit box racer Mark Herbert was killed in a terrible road accident when he collided with other car.I had never met him but his presence in the VW world ( drag racing, books,cal-look site,engine building and more ) was huge.He will be very much remembered!on this earth. Here's the link, terrible news. Sounded like a guy with lots of knowledge, a real mainstay in VW performance. Street racing was what killed him, be careful people

I agree.

I never met the man, but he was there for fellow dubbers. He bacame an "icon" of the "industry", and was well respected.

I heard of the news not long after it happened, and it saddens me, and many others I am sure, that we have lost a great brother.

I can't give an Australian analogy, because we don't have anyone in Oz that is equivalent.
