that makes no logical sense.

you could have a single injector for the whole engine that would drown it with the choices of injectors these days.

Yeah, and with long runners performance would be average. I know I have considered a very similar set up for a hi po engine build. Lo speed the manifold injectors run, as power and load increases the second injectors come on. Way better fuel control with improved atomisation

The second injectors were over-the-top like F1

still doesn't make much sense to do so.

So many different injectors these days and the late Bosch (mid 90s) EV6 and now (05) EV14 injectors have crazy atomization with 4, 6 and 12 hole designs. Then you have all the Siemens Deka, Lucas etc...

having 2 injectors like that is like trying to invent the square wheel imho. :crazy:
