We're open for business :) - 25 May 2006
Thank you for your interest in sponsoring Aussieveedubbers!
Marketplace
Aussie Veedubbers has around 1800 active members*, of whom 61.8% have posted. Most are complete die hard VW nuts, so we're a very tightly nit
marketplace.
Some stats (correct as of 18/1/2005):
Monthly hits: 4.4 million (November 2004)
Unique visitors: 13, 349 (November 2004)
Ad impressions: 533, 820 (November 2004)
Campaigns
Aussieveedubbers supports arbitrary numbers of campaigns. For additional loot, we can weight the display of your ads over others.
Reporting
Each advertiser will have their own campaign account. This gives you the ability to see how many impressions and click throughs you've received.
How much does it cost?
Basic sponsorship is $250 for a single ad from Jan. 1, 2006; to run for a year, which is insanely cheap, specially considering the niche market you
have access to. Compared to the usual CPC and MPC banner advertising rates scattered across sites that hold no interest to you, this is a bargain.
More ads? Give us more money! Want to see your ad more often? You
guessed it.
How to subvert us
Promise us loads of cash, especially for special events, and I'm sure we can come to some arrangement. This site is themeable, if you get my
drift.
Acceptable Ads
We prefer advertisers from the VW related world, but we will accept ads from most advertisers.
We just do plain old 468x60 banners. Normal GIF, PNG or JPEG, Flash or Shockwave ads are allowed.
Unacceptable Ads
Adverts from gambling, porn, and multi-level marketing (pyramid schemes) are not accepted.
Pop ups, pop unders, tower ads, javascript jails, or web bugs are also not accepted, as these are offensive to the surfing public.
What happens to the loot
The majority of recent sponsorship money has been used to fund the bandwidth requirements for this website, which is now pushing 25 GB a month.
However, recently the advertising to running costs ratio is past even, and we are starting to end up with a profit. This is not why we do this, so in
some form, it will be returned to the members.
There has been recent ideas to have Christmas BBQ's and get togethers, with AVD making contributions, as well as talk of restoring a car for charity
or that would be raffled. Other recent projects include stickers to advertise this forum.
