Newcastle Hail Storm Today
hope my fellow DNVK members got their rides out of the freak hail storm today, unfotunately for my bro his entire car yard was destroyed, even his
treasured all original Kingswood premiere copped a beating. He said the hail was so big after 3 hits to the head he was knocked to the ground trying
to rescue his cars. Damn...

If it dented a Kingswood....
it was big hail....
I always thought beetles were too strong for hail damage
but if the hail is big enough...
it's wreck anything....
sorry to hear of Your Brothers car yard....

Damn Sam that's bad news. Sorry to hear about your bro's yard. Those pics you'd posted of the Kingy were sweet. Hope the insurance gets him back on
his feet soon.

Bugger - nothing worst than seeing a vehicle which has survived years and miles of crazy drivers be damaged by the weather.
I feel your pain - I'm still repairing the damage to our familys cars from a hail storm that hit us exactly a year ago today... weird!:duh

yeah my families cars were destroyed too.
less then a year old fully imported SAAB Vectra Sport and a brand new holden Vectra. The saab recieved damage on every panel like the hail just honed
in on it from all directions. The holden now has no front or rear windows and the side mirrow was smashed off.
Pissed that the saab got damaged cause its the only one with its colour in the country.
Also the boats canopy was destroyed
Sorry to hear about your bro's yard sam. dam that will hit hard (No pun intended) with business

Yes our poor little 62 beetle suffered about 6 dents the hail was as big as golf balls and they came down with a lot of force I live at Wallsend and
my beetle I dove it to work and I work at Wallsend Plaza Shopping Centre and we had to evacuate the Centre as the hail smashed through all our
skylights lucky it stopped raining as the damage could have been much worse. Haven't had a close look at beetle yet will have to wash her this arvo
and investigate more lucky it's insured through shannons:cry
