Your car is the perfect blend of old school and new school. Fantastic job mate.

Any video of the car?

If I ever stop stuffing around with my 58 an EJ25 would be on the cards for my VWRX too.

Holy crap, that's awesome. The front is pretty low, does it get enough cooling air to where ever the radiator is?

It must be fun to drive.

I see you run a radiator, intercooler and oil cooler all in the tail end. Do you have any comments on how this works? I imagine heat soak would be a
big issue but I'm happy to find out otherwise. Also It looks as though you did not move the engine/transaxel forward to much, do you have any early
shots of the back end coming together?

Any info/advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers Stephen

Cooling was the biggest challenge, however, I have it nailed down now. I am using 2 radiators.

The main (C&R) radiator sits just behind the relocated rear firewall. That gets it air via 2 air ducts from underneath the vehicle. This rad also
has a big SPAL fan triggered above 90C.

The other radiator is actually a Fluidyne oil cooler. This is the guy you see on top of everything in the center. It gets its air from the roof's
airflow.

Also, I replaced the factory oil cooler with a Fluidyne air to air. This sits behind the left rear tire.

Also, I have 2 small SPAL fans mounted to the Spearco intercooler.

Moved firewall (old picture)

One of the airducts from underneath feeding the main rad

Air to air oil cooler

Powdercoated coolant tank

cool nice work and good to see you have gone off on your own tangent. Tell me did you keep it a swinger for any particular reason? I bet you don't
come off the gas mid corner ever lol

If you get a chance please tell me everything as I'm currently building a similar car http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=55183
and would love to hear you opinions.

I chose the swing axle setup (with sway-a-way axles) over IRS for superior strength.

I destroyed 2nd gear on my old Rancho ProStreet trans, so I went with aftermarket 1st and 2nd gears on this Rancho ProDrag trans.

Anodized 1/4" Aluminum Plate (STi Motor Mounts to CSP Torque Bars). I have since then swapped out the suby mounts for solid mounts.

This thing will do some nasty wheel stands so I had to fab up a Wheelie-Safe Gas Tank Sump
