how to de-value ur split beetle

easy

convert it to a big window
yes thats an actual 1950 split with a big back window and it prob has bogged over crotch coolers too
ive seen a few ovals converted like this too
was a trend in the 60s to modernise them

imagine the surprise u get when u go to check out an old late 50s beetle someones seen only to look inside at a split dash......

I think you'll find that 1951 - 52 were the only model to have the crutch coolers as not all splits had them

i have an old German mate who tells me that this was apparently very common in Europe as splits/ovals and a PITA to drive around town.
