FS - Not VW - 1963 LHD 356 $20k ono

Reluctantly putting my LHD 356 for sale. Won't be advertising it anywhere else apart from here and melbugluft. I had plans to fully restore it but other priorities are popping up. Both the pan and battery box are rusted and need replacing. I ordered the replacement panels already but won't arrive for another few weeks but included in the sale. Sills/longitundinals are sold. Some rust repair is also needed around the bonnet closing area and under right rear guard. Apart from that, very sold and straight body with very nice gaps. Car was full operational till it got pulled off the road and partially dismantled in prep for restoration. 100% complete. Originally was green but now in red. Delivered in Germany then taken to the US then imported to Oz in Jul '05. I collected some history about it including videos and delivery details from Porsche.
Either fully restore or patch the rust areas and get it on the road within a month or two.

Looking for $20k ono including replacement panels. What it cost me to buy it, get it to Melb and replacement panels.

Car stored in Epping at a mate's factory so only serious buyers please.
I have posted pics for the car before stripping. Since then, the rear windows and interior have been removed. Engine still in the car. I also included 2 pics of the car in it's current state (poor mobile phone camera quality, sorry)

Bargain!

Raf, whats with the speedster type seats and headrests?

Great investment at this price.

Cheers

Steve

Thanks guys, I hope it goes to a good home. Had big plans for it but as I mentioned, priorities have changed. But if not reasonable sale, still very happy to restore it and proceed, had everything lined up for the resto
Steve, it came with the cool driver seat. I even have soem videos of it been taken for a very "spirited" drive in the US. Very cool, will try to post the videos somewhere

As far as I know, was running strong before the car was pulled off the road for resto.
