Head reconditioning

Hi all,

Anybody know of a good place to recondition 1200 heads in the Sydney area?

Just got a spare set in good condition, but will need new valve guides and valves. The heads have no cracks, the combustion chambers are not pitted and all the fins are present.

Anybody have an idea on a price to do this job?

headwerx in Burleigh were good too. But be sure to have a full pressure and hardness check. The extra money involved will make sure the money you put towards getting a head rebuilt doesn't go to waste.

had a bad experience with a soft head shaved after skimping on a test. Top ends a dud now.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'll have to give unlimited head jobs a call as they're the only ones in Sydney.

Cheers
