I am after some drop spindles for my 67 VW beetle, drum front end, as I want to lower it.

67 should be link pin,do your shocks at the top have the round eye with the bolt going through??? ,george is at classicveedub,i sent pm to h not you sorry.

It says they changed to ball joint in 66?

If its linkpin the shocks at the top have the round eye with the bolt through,balljoint beam have the shock with the top threaded rod going throught the top of the beam,i would show you a picture but i cant upload any,do you have wide 5 wheels or 4 stud???

Yep it's link pin as everyone said, must be the American's got the changes before us, even the set on ebay say 66-71 balljoint spindles.
