The Beetle build


Hi all just got this on friday and have started pulling apart for repairs.needs usual rust repairs but will be doing floor pan and driveline first.Check it out.

best is to use photobucket

Looks like there is a fair bit of rust up in there. Are you going to take out the engine vent and luggage rack. I had the same type of rust issues and couldn't really see a way of doing a decent job without removal. lot of work but worth it in the end.

hey all im still goin with the repairs.As you can see ive cut the firewall out and started on the rust under the air vent.Not as bad as it looks.
Also built a trolley for the body.
Luke i dont need to pull anything out can get to it all.Check out the pics.

Well there has been progress but now am selling as ive had a good offer on another car.Car for sale at $1500 ono.See for sale section.
