Restoring Aluminium Trim Strips on '68 Beetle
The aluminium trim strips on the outside of my Beetle (and to a much lesser extent on the dash) have dulled right down. I reckon they are anodized but
they may be chromed. Anyone know for sure as I would like to restore them. I know I could polish them up then clear coat them however looking for a
more long term solution (and no, I don't want to replace them with stainless steel).
