For sale: Firestone Swamp Cooler + Thermador Swamp Cooler
Hi Guys,
My first post here as I'm not really a VW man, more of a kustom man but i figured here's one for all the rat guys.
I originally bought this for my bagged EK Holden but as the project went along, it just didnt suit the style anymore so Ive had these in my garage for
10 years.
Pictures speak for themselves, I have no idea if they actually work anymore or not as Ive never had water in there.
Was contemplating rubbing back and respraying but I figured they look pretty sweet as is, more ratty anyway...
Any questions, please ask.
I am selling both for $300 each and I am located in Newcastle, NSW
Can ship at buyers expense.
My number is 0413849942 if you have any urgent questions.
These are getting harder and harder to find, especially in Australia!
Here is a link to the Photobucket album:

I hope that works, Im not sure of the ins and outs of this forum just yet.....
Kind regards,

How are these secured? Is it the bracket mount or clip?

Looks like right side if you look at the last pic, which you can blow up if you click on it.
Also appears they clip onto the top edge of the window and into the window (bailey I think its called) channel

Hi Mods,
Thanks for combining both my posts.
I can't reply to any PMs as I have not accrued 5 posts yet..
Both are right hand mounting as not many were ever made for RHD cars....
Do not include support brace, but VERY easy to manufacture a piece of straight bar or stainless. Just wind down the window and slip it over, then
wind up the window tight and it rests in the Bailey channel.
I never used it with a mount, pretty heavy so could definitely use a bit more support to take the pressure off the glass.
Both are technically still for sale as I haven't received any cash yet. One gentleman has told me he will take the Thermador so that is under
negotiation.
The Firestone is still up for grabs...
Cheers,
