i have a 68 ball joint swing axle beetle to wreck out.
body seen better days.
good gearbox out of 70 model 1300. $200
carrera kit,$200 jellybean mags withusable tyres 195/70/14.$100
custom interior from the 80's. now saggy. porsche seats.
8 million gauges, all work $150 the lot.
sick of this car, no time for it anymore.
plenty of good bits.
car is now stripped. no motor.
let me know wot you want and see if we can work something out.

Hi flash is that beetle got slopping front gaurds with no rust

if you mean the 70 it has good front guards no rust.
the 68 obviously has fibreglass guards.

G'day mate, can you tell me what the floor pans are like in either beetle (68 or 70)? I have a 68 currently but needs pan halves and some other repairs so hoping to find a pan that is solid to save some time/$

What size are the mags?? Any pics?

pan on the 68 is good except for a slightkink in the front rh side of frame head. left front wheel sits forward and right front wheel sits back. pretty well rust free but.
70 pan is good except because it is a convertible it has plates and boxing everywhere to strengthenit. i done think the body is seperable from the floorpan.

wheels were dragways.
dont recall seeing any different name on them.
the spinner on one of the wheels had a dragway emblem on it.
