early and late engine differences?

hi guys

have a 72 type 3 fasty rolling shel, without engine subframe,l and an early engine and gearbox with subframe.

how much work to put the early running gear in the late fasty?
or i have a late engine and gearbox, but no subframe, can this fit the early subframe?
