Thought I'd start a new thread for Sydney as the other one is all blocked up with crap now! Lol! The cackling pipes page has all the photos up now...

Cackling pipes took some great photos, I forgot that video was playing on the big screen, I thought it was replays of that days racing, it took me a while to work out it was video from Warwick

I love this shot

Here is a clip from Mike Kristens Ghia from a different perspective. this was a 9.4 @ 158mph. I think we will need a better GoPro mount

Steve, what times did you actually run?

This is Shanes pass in the "Flamin Tiki" buggy running his PB of 10.90. things were getting a bit slippery on the track.

Grover was almost ready.
At least we got some pics on the track.

Here is another on board video of shane against Mike kristen. It may give an idea as to why some of the quicker cars decided not to continue racing. Unfortunately the track seemed to go away from us as the day progressed and as a safety call Shane & Mike decided enough is enough.

Shit I think I saw that run, looks much more scary from your point of view
Performance Upholstery ·
Because they all ran out of undies??? I understand... That looked scary. Imagine If Shane crossed the centreline and mike cleaned him up at that speed!!

You definitely have to respect the track, your car, yourself and just as importantly the person in the lane beside you.
fish26 ·
Well said,..........awesome pics all round, Grover looks tough as nails, when do we see it race?
vw54 ·
Great driving Shane n Mike
I saw the run from behind i think you were both going sideways down the track bit slippery

Absolutely stunning car Steve- best example of a Fat Girl I've ever seen.

Thanks guys, only problem with Porsche wheels is that 35 series tyres aren't the best for drag racing, I will have another go with some more suitable wheels & tyres

Awesome photo!!

Grant and his crew took some Awesome photos. We have contacted him about ordereing sets of photos of both cars. Steven's run here was a 12.1 on a soft tune @ 109mph, we were side by side! I ran 11.93 at 113mph in the ghost. He still has 4 deg of timing two jet sizes, droping the tyres down to 14 psi and 400rpm on the shift limit to play with. He ran this pass on 18psi tyres. We are going to run the car at Calder on this Friday night at street meet.

Might pay to knock up some wheelie bars first! Lol!
