Mini-Herbie

Hi All,

Anyone know the name and contact details for the owner of the mini-Herbie who made an appearance at the VW Sydney Showdown drags on Feb 22nd? I spoke to him briefly but in the hectic pace of running the show didn't get a chance to follow-up at the end of the day. PM or email if you know the mystery man….

Cheers
Craig

That looks pretty cool - would be keen to see some more pics or more details - the kids would love to have a mini Herb

Reckon that would be 63RagBeetle, I sent him a PM about it months ago but got no reply more than that I can't help

Again no help but I like how she is pillar-less!

That's Alex Micakovski, Sydney-based Club Veedub member who also owns the genuine Disney Herbie. There was an article on his mini-Herbie in the March 2013 issue of Zeitschrift:

It's a genuine Disney-built miniature that was used in Herbie Rides Again (the Alonzo Hawk dream sequence). Alex has posted footage of the mini-Herbie's first startup on YouTube:

Thank you.

I don't have Alex's direct contact details, but if you email club secretary Bob Hickman (secretary@clubvw.org.au) he can look them up on the database and pass them on.

I know Alex and have sent him a message about this thread, hopefully he should get back to you soon.

Thanks Chris,

Hi Craig, thats me.

I've just PM'd you my number.

Cheers,
Alex.
