I have a windage tray, but not sure if it suits Type 1 or 4.
Will get a pic for you and we both might learn something!

Windage trays came standard on VW/Porsche Type 4 engines, but never on Type 1's.

Hi Grahame,thats an aftermarket Type 1 windage tray.The Type4 tray looks like this



original fitment on 914 and 411/412 cars

Yeah,by the time you pay a freight forwarder it would get quite expensive
