It’s a gem. Need more pictures but there’s lots of positives in that one.
Steering wheel & seats. Top of the front guards haven’t been caved in by people walking on them, looks to be the same with the rear. Windscreen frame is there, with glass and hinges.
That KO number will come up clearly when you run the sand blaster over it and get the paint out of the stamps. Definitely KO215.

Thanks tony will take a heap more photos once i move it into the shed. Been away three days bouldering and cruzing in the kombi but keen to het back and get stuck in 🙂 shed needs a clean first.

he got it from out of town, cant remember where.. This one is not on the register

He has it for years and by a chance conversation.. here it is.

We stopped at their place last October on our way to Victoria towing our Country Buggy

Yeah they are good people! Brian told me one day that he had a mate that was into vws and i recalled talking about country buggies and yours a few months ago.. More than welcome to come check mine out.. Have an ale 👍

Sorry haven't been on for ages, I've been enthused by the 50th anniversary coming up. Still got another 12 months of study, if I pass.. So progress will be slow
