So here we go for a nice easy resto......
bought this off a fella here and started stripping the donk and found a few fun things going on......missing nuts and a few other things ........
Lets see where this bug takes me........
Already fitted a 110 cam , checked valves, heads, cylinders n Pistons all looks useable........

Got new floor pans , etch primed and sealed ready for welding in.....

Pans are in and sikaflexed both under body and inside ,pedal assembly brake lines next....

Don't forget the Hoover bit! Finally got the bending right......

Painted and have cut and polished some parts.......
Headliner install is going slow.....
New brake lines and master cylinder is in.....
Some soundproofing and a new wiring loom....
Still lots to do....

Installed power windows and central locking....
Glued down body to chassis seal....
New wheel cylinders, pads installed....

Finally tonite the body is on the chassis,,,,yeeeeehaaaaaaaah
I'm smoking a cigar and having a beer , was a bit stressful lowering it on my own but got it there in the end with no damage, seats were pretty tight fit though.....😜

Coming along well Binner. Where did the power window kits come from? My searching for kits hasn't shown me anything that looks like those. They are an easy fit by the looks.

Thanks fella, not sure where I got the winders, I'll look into it for you, I bought them a while ago now but think it was an eBay store. Pretty easy to install just a bit of cutting to do......
