Hi all, bought a bug with a 1600cc in it, but with the pict 28 carburettor. Does anyone have anything more suitable around?
Thanks

I bought from the USA a few years ago a BROSOL carburetor which was made in Brasil . it looks great. It was designed to replace a few different carburetors and comes with an adaptor to fit twin port engines.ultrasuede wrote:http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Volkswagen-VW-Type-I-II-Carburetor-34-PICT-3-1-2-Beetle-98-1289-B-12V-/262477768986?nav=SEARCH
Ended up grabbing one of these. Anyone had experience with one before? The price seemed right

Pot luck at best.
Porous castings, cracks, blocked gallies, stripped threads - the list of whoes go on.
Better off getting an old Original German cab and spending the $$$ and getting it rebuilt
