An or wax or similar

Hi. My brother in law wants seal decorative metal panels. Can anyone recomend anything to use. Thanks greg

there are many ways to coat metal. There is polyurethane paint in spray cans - matte or glossy
also spray cans of gloss or matte or semi gloss paint
depends on whether the item will be inside or out in the weather in sun [uv rays]
I'm not sure how large We are talking about...
and whether the item is bare metal steel??
the item must be very clean... for the paint to stick to it..
