Does anyone have a 1200 to 1600cc motor to suit an early beetle/bus laying about. Complete and not too far from Ballina NSW. Just want to get my bus mobile till I decide what engine will go in it.

I have a perfectly good dual port 1600 that I just removed from my beetle. There was nothing wrong with it I just put in a 2276. It has single 34 pict carb, vintage speed exhaust and good compression.
