The KG will be slightly modified, full restorations are 100K+... Paint is next - Anthracite grey with blackout bumpers etc, I've got some nice 17" AirEvo's for it, Leons motors has built me a 2054, Willem at Platinum will be trimming the interior in red leather and it will be low and lean... Something like the pic attached.. but convertible!
vw54 ·
Anthracite grey nice colour with the red trim similar to my Oval
Are you having Over riders on the bumpers Smooth look boltless bars would be good as well

No over riders at this stage. Will see how the current bumpers come up after paint
niishkombi ·
Bonnet upgrade... at some point in time there rear had s hunt and had around 15mm deep mud in it.. Brad chose to cut out the entire section and weld in fresh metal
vw54 ·
I would love to be able to do panel work like that
niishkombi ·

Brad started in late March this year and is making amazing progress considering the state it was in...
vw54 ·
Seeing your going to slightly modify the Ghia Do you have original headlights there very hard to find these days
Ive seen a Ghia done using Beetle headlights cutting the bucket into the guard at the same angle as the windscreen gives it a great look

Thanks - Its a Bug-Tech race shifter from Germany, unfortunately when they tried to marry the body, it hits on the dash, some bending was needed to make it work
niishkombi ·
