Well, not new.
Reckon it was 2018-ish I bought it off AVD.
Can’t find the advertisement though.
So I may as well start a fresh, seeing as the forum is up and running.

It was for sale in Queensland. I’m in NSW.
Seller wouldn’t sell unless it was inspected first.
As I was new to bays, I was going to fly a mechanic mate up to inspect it.
“Sorry I can’t. I’m on holidays” he says.
Turns out it was the suburb next door.
So he has a look and the deal was done.

A very original 1976 micro bus
Tired, but in excellent condition

Complete with all seats, including a front dickie seat.
Floor mats and head liner all original

Roll on eight years, and I still have it along with my T3

After about 5 years of ownership, and coming to the end of my working life, I had some money tucked away.

I had been driving it and it was good, but as said, it was a little tired.

I drove up to see Steve Natoli and he went right over it and gave it an upgrade.

A new motor with C25 cam and Webers.
A 123+ Tune distributor
New steering box from Rick on the central coast.
A window rubbers replaced and OG sliders in place instead of flippers
Brakes, suspension everything checked

More bits

Even picked up a repo registration sticker off eBay

It’s still a bit of a toy.
Take it out to St Ives Showgrounds for catch ups once a month.

Going to Busstops and Old Bar Festivals and other camping trips

I have a parking spot a suburb or two away.
My T3 has to put up with living on the street.

Anyway, they bay does a fair few kms each year and she’s a keeper
