Great pic

Who's Combi tram is it?

4WDDubnut · 11 Oct 2002, 9:10 pm

It was owned by the bloke who runs Dandy Volks in Dandenong Vic. He lent it to Doug from the VWclub of Vic to take to the 50th anniversary of the Kombi.

Green T4 · 11 Oct 2002, 9:31 pm

Dietrich at the Ettamogah Pub.....

HotRodMatt · 11 Oct 2002, 10:17 pm

How's this for something big?

I didn't notice the "4 Wheel Drive Only" sign until the way out...

Guess I should have known when i had to raise the front two inches along the way...

Matt.

OvalGlen · 11 Oct 2002, 10:52 pm

On you Matt. Why should 4WD have all the fun?. I've been down some fairly rough tracks in my SuperBug as well.
Dont think i'll subject the Oval to it..Though I'm sure it could handle it.

4WDDubnut · 12 Oct 2002, 7:12 am

:sandrine:alien :sandrine :bounce
Well its a big beach

4WDDubnut · 6 Nov 2002, 5:25 pm

I like that one at the Big Beach. Must be strong beer in the Kombi, I count 5X. I 'm getting thirsty just thinking about it.

KruizinKombi · 6 Nov 2002, 7:36 pm

How about a kombi and a big load?:bounce

The_Bronze. · 7 Nov 2002, 12:40 am

Last weekend we came across a big hole. Some got out, some didn't. MR930 answer to everybog - "Pull the plates off and leave it there". No wonder he's got so many buggies and Bajas!

The Bronze.

4WDDubnut · 8 Nov 2002, 8:41 am

Hey Colin are you bringing the wood pile to the DOVW this year? And how come the pictures don't open up on their own anymore?

KruizinKombi · 8 Nov 2002, 6:56 pm

No mate, no gimmicks this year, I'm just coming to see other people's cars. 🙂

4WDDubnut · 9 Nov 2002, 10:51 am

KruizinKombi · 9 Nov 2002, 8:01 pm

:o That page IS pretty damn funny!! 😀 Maybe I should dub my kombi "The Lumber Bus" 😀

I suppose I could fill my bus with firewood again this year, but the only wood I have access to at the moment is Cypress, pre-cut into firewood-length blocks, which wouldn't be nearly as impressive.

I was looking at an alternative gimmick, but I discovered that tyres to fit a 22" wheel came to about $570 per corner, so I think I'll just sit it out this year. 😉😀

4WDDubnut · 12 Nov 2002, 10:34 pm

Here is one more

KruizinKombi · 13 Nov 2002, 7:28 pm

😀

OvalGlen · 13 Nov 2002, 8:53 pm

I like that " the WOODY Kombi "
-
-
" its just so versatile isnt it "
-
and thus we see again Kombi Rules OK🙂
