I'm just curious. My next VW will be a NB Cabriolet in probably December next year, assuming the 1.8t with the automatic roof is here by then. Otherwise I'll wait until it is released.
Green T4 ·
I've had my next VW for the last 5 1/2 years (the Green T4).
jenz58 ·
Stop already just bought my second last week, don't tempt me. How many can one person have? lol
Now have '58 beetle and '70 sqback, I'm content 🙂
the shire bug ·
My next vw would be an oval but as I have just purchased my 68 and just introduced my wife to the world of vw's I think I will have to wait a while🙁

Dont' want to offend anyone, but my current project is still about 8 grand away from completion. And here's the offensive bit: my next project will be a mild, gas powered EF Falcon - I love the VWs, but they don't hold enough gear for work (well, a Kombi does and I love 'em, but the running costs make them a bit impractical for high-mileage work,) and the falcon will cost less!
70AutoStik ·
PS That might not be completely true... But the poll is a bit limited. I may well buid a purely off-road VW to scare the V8s on the salt/mud flats before I leave this hell-hole... I've still got my eye on a chassis at the "recycler's" and our mechanic happens to have some hubs modified to take holden wheels (read cheap and readily available.)
vwrallycar ·
i really want a 1303 as my next volkswagen.
i will not buy a new vw again.
instead i want an XR6 TURBO
Che Castro ·
i really want a early bug karmann cabriolet, preferably 64 or earlier
bus914 ·
hmmm... i think i'll get me a genuine notchback cabriolet prototype, British racing green, white Monaro stripes, with nos keel rims, slammed, with a twin turbo 2110. ...yeah, i think that would be pretty cool.
KruizinKombi ·
My next project changes weekly, I just can't decide which one to work on first!:o
twobus ·
Well first comes the 66 PMG van resto ! Then comes the 65 Kombi with type 4 power front discs lowered 4 inches irs rear 16 inch Hyper fangs, and mazda yellow bottom and polar white top, may even do the leather upholtery my son wants
IDOVWS ·
It will be a 72 Sbag for the Targa Tasmania in 2003/04
TORQUE IS EVERYTHING
Mad Manx ·
I think If I bought another car it would be a baja beetle to complement my manx. But as I already have four cars I dont think It will be any time soon!😎
KOM123 ·
My dream for a second car (our first is a '76 Kombi camper) would be a restored 8 seater Kombi with air-conditioning 🙂
Grey 57 ·
My next VW would be a Type 3 Karmann Ghia - Razor Edge. Not everyones cup of tea but I luv em. Lowered with a type 4 2.? whatever and a 5 speed porshe box. Kool.
I'm dreamin tho cause I would have to sell the oval to get it, and I couldn't do that cause I want them both.
Oh and the fact I havn't got any money. 🙁
Phil74Camper ·
Well I'm still working on my Kombi; it's still a few months away from being completely finished.
But when it is...I've always wanted a Manx. For the street though, not off-road. In candy-apple red metal-flake, with lots of chrome. Wide chrome VW wheels. And a rumbly exhaust. And a nice interior.
Would be much nicer than a Jap convertible sports car (which I'm trying to be talked into at the moment, without any luck so far)
Buger Gary ·
I have a 60 beetle in my mums shed already,But I would realy like to do a split
Kombi(standard on the outside and modern on the inside)
Quickbug ·
The 70somthing L bug with Carerra kit, modded up, newly rebuilt and painted with my 1916cc in will be the next vw on the road shortly.
Lots to do still tho....
penguin ·
I think I had best get the current one ('56 Oval) finished before I start dreaming of the Kombi!!!!!!!
4WDDubnut ·
My latest is a 71 Red Panel. She is the prettiest thing!! Photos to follow.:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb
Doug Sweetman ·
Well, my next one is the Porsche Guards Red '73 1303 with the 1835, counterweighted crank, forged pistons, fully balanced, twin IDF's, stage 2 cam deep sump etc etc. Its getting electrics and finishing touches done as we speak (should be finished in a week or so, at which stage I will take some photos and post them). Its been 18 months coming (due to 2 trips round the world on work..... who can complain ?)
Maybe I should have bought that 55 oval for $500 last year..... man I love ovals 🙂 way cleaner shape than the 1303's
Grey 57 ·
Welcome to the oval bunch Doug. :thumb
aggri1 ·
I wanna splittie, bus that is. Financial considerations are the only thing holding me back right now, and that will soon be sorted (hehehe - now just 'cause I live in Melbourne, don't go gettin' any ideas!)
CoopGirl ·
I am hoping our next VW is a squareback, on the premis that I can sell my Charade (anyone wanna buy a car??). I need more room with the next bundle of joy arriving in 8 weeks.
HotRodMatt ·
Yeah so no one buy it before the Charade sells!
I want Coopgirl and the kids to be wearing my illustration as t-shirts....
