Black coil with an Alloy heat sink... what is it you wish to know ??

Wish to know fors and against of using on daily driver or are they just for show. i purchased one from 2nd hand shop in good order for $5 yesterday.

Bolt it on and find out.
If its still good it will give you a better spark

Make sure that you secure the top of the magneto to something that doesnt move (maybe with a bracket to the fan shroud or something). What I have heard is that due to their extra height and weight compared to a dizzy, they can rock in the hole a bit and turn it from circular to oval........ not easy to fix.
Would look good with a Judson supercharger in an oval or old kg 🙂

Will bring it to the Nationals next Easter but will have to trial it first.
