i found this on the samba site.
it said it was a rare Australian split rag, with genuine Australian and german accessories. Anyone know it. i didn't think there were any genuine australian delivered splits.

It's a custom car, a 56 with a genuine 51 Split section and Golde sunroof section. Ever seen a Split at your local Safeway carpark, I guess not...built for cruizing and fun, definitely not a trailer queen! Who cares about the few boring purists out there.....at the end of the day, if you're having fun, it's all that counts. Besides, if you experience being in this car whilst cruizing, Oval, Split, Big-Window, nobody gives a shit....they just stare and love it!
Keep Australia beautiful, drive e'm low....
