I was born and bread in NSW. I have lived in QLD for 3 years now and must say that QLD is a better place to live. The best thing of all is you don't have to go through the pink and green slip bullshit every year and you can register your car for 6 or 12 months. Bloody good when you own an old VW馃榾
I still go for the Blues in the State of Origin though:P

welli am a NSWeslhman. my old man though was victorian (kew). he thought the sun shined longer as you head further north, so he followed. i am heading to Qld for the first time soon. so i will report back what/if anything i discovour. i think anyone in this great land should be happy. i dont think there is a better place to be.

I'm NSW born, sired by a VIC.
Dad left a town of 10 pubs (hard to believe if you knew my dad) on a trip around australia, he got as far as wollongong. Either the beer is bloody good here or its just gods country. Or perhaps he was just running away from silly football and got this far before he dared turn around.
Actually i'm very VIC. I've traced most of dads side of the family and the earliest immigrant was 1850 odd.
No idea where my kombi is from. Sutherland shire was its last home.
