This is a drill rig we are servicing at work. VW motor powering the hydraulics.
Interestingly the motor's from a car, not an industrial motor, even though the bell housing looks like a factory made mount. Maybe the motor died at some stage and they fitted one from a beetle back in?

The versatility of the aircooled VW engine, I was talking to a bloke who was contemplating a VW powered mower! love to see that when it's finished.
