Wow cool pics. Its great to see more watercooled dubs on here. I was so excited to see some new beetles in the background
Question: I thought the new beetles would have been called the 'mexican beetle' due to the fact that they're now made in mexico.
Anyway great pics again :thumb

Great pics thanks 🙂 Any idea how much it cost Gary to get one of those last Beetles? It's a pleasant surprise as I thought there was a thread floating around ages ago about how someone was told they couldn't bring one into Australia.

A bit over $32 all up, incl. air fares etc. Cheaper than a commodore.

:thumb What a great holiday, one i will regret not being a part of...great pics 😀
Green T4 ·
Sure is memorable. What I didn't say was all 102 VWs in the cavalcade were photographed 3 times in different locations, and you could buy an A4 pic. for $10 or buy the CD for $20, which I did. 503 pics for $20 is good value!!
Add to that the metal commemorative badge presented to each on the cavalcade, also added to the event.
