What's the hole under the middle of the front bench seat? Is that for tools, or sarsparellas? :bounce

Micro bus extra foot heater option maybe.
I guess there was an extra nossle so you could flip the flap and stick it in if you wanted,probably a european thing not so much aussie. The splitscreens had them permenant under the rear seat and a lot of people cut them off.Have a look under yours and you should find that part of the main heater duct connects to this flap hole.

I'm new to kombis yet I've become much more interested in them lately. Looking at your partition, it doesn't appear to have the same indent for the spare wheel as mine. What year is yours?

I used to keep my jack / tools / spare parts in there from memory ( it was a long time ago! )
