I accidentally pressed the "Nuke all post counts" button in the Administration control panel.
Trust me, I'm fixing it. The ads are really annoying (I had to kill off the pop up killer for XP SP1 1105 installation).
If you don't have the correct post count (even if you haven't asked me too) by 11 pm tonight, please post in here again.
The good thing is that you should have a reasonably accurate post count (+/- 5 posts) by the end of the evening ... as long as no one ever uses the "Fix post count" option in the administration control panel again.

Yes, the stars go up as your posts do.
But administrators/supermoderators/moderators get 10 by default due to the code hack I did (there's something seriously wrong with the code displaying avatars, and this was the way to fix it).

How many posts do I have to wait to accrue before I can change my title? Or will that never happen, and I have to beg a mod to do it for me?

Titles change with posts up to 1000. Then when you get to 1000, make a big deal about it (most do!) and we'll change it then. If you can't decide on one, I'm sure we can come up with one.
Also people who do a lot for the community, clubs, etc, get a lot of leeway with this 1000 figure.
