I use Kazza Lite++
Kazza without the spy ware and with a few extra cool things thowen in :thumb

I used emule for a while, queues are very long and there arent that many files on there. Mostly movies, appz and gamez, not a great selection of mp3s.

If I remember reading somewhere, Kazaa is on the hit list, along the lines of Napster. Was in APC couple of issues ago I think. Maybe steer away from it......

KaZaZ lite would be the way to go. NO Spyware as its big brother Media Desktop and run in conjunction with Peer Guardian R.I.A.A. and other alike are blocked from getting your IP address.

P2P Is this sharing files mp3s etc.

if so Kazaar is at the top of the hit list for embedding shiiit into your computer.

i use Bearshare which is pretty good, go the free version. No pop-ups ever (Ohhh memories of the old forum)

Also run ad-aware to get rid of some embedded tracking stuff also free

i have used kazza but now using winmx SEEMS TO WORK GOOD FOR ME,,,

I am finding kazza is having a lot of corrupt mp3's now and is rearly pissing me off, so i am hunting around for others, tried winMx and not had one download, very long waiting times, so am now looking @ bearshare as we speak, any others you guy know off that reliable!!!!

IRC can be a good place to download recent stuff. There are channels out there with loads of people serving mp3s, complete albums, films, TV shows, games and apps. Only problem is there is usually a queue, but if you're only after mp3s it shouldn't be too bad.

i used bearshare for a while......MP3's on Kazaa are corrupt sometimes ....especially the latest music.......however WMA files are free from curuption.

yeah 555bug is spot on emule or torrent is the way to go
i have used them all bearshear kazza filenavigator etc
i don't download any more just leach files or hard drive trades

WinMX use to be very very bad and cause a heap of problems with spyware etc, as did bearware ... I spose they must have fixed it up ...

I use kazaa lite ... so much better, yeah the file are sometimes corrupt but you soon learn to 'read' your search results so as to restrict the chances of getting a fu!k#ed file. 🙂 :duh

After using bearshare which is ok, the odd pop up, but it slows the pc down when downloading unlike kazza, hard to close the program too, so i have been directed to shareaza which is a multi network, or a all in one, found music instantly, says its totaly legal, dunno about that though, try it, tis free and user freindly...
