Its taken a long time to get this far, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.. thank god.... I was beginning to think there wasn't an end at all !! Engine has been out & back in after the car was painted.. replaced the torque converter.. Having a removeable fibreglass rear valance really makes engine removal a one person job...
Still a small bit of wiring to do, all the wires are there, all connectors soldered on and covered with shrinkwrap. There are a few extra switches under the dash and extra dash lights , I still have the Tachometer & other gauges to install yet.. My accelerator pump doesn't work in My Carby, another small job, but the engine starts & idles OK.. Electronic ignition to go in too. and Not forgetting the air conditioning to go in at the end of the year.... and the windows & interior.
I have put the outer scraper & 1/4 window in the drivers door. The Left hand scraper turned out to be Brazillian Crap.. I had a spare from a superbug I wrecked, it was Crap too... the clips broke off, and nothing was lining up....
Everything that could go wrong seems to have gone wrong with this car... But I still Love it.... thats the story so far...
