Hows this Square from the UK..

I just couldn't put it in Pic of the Week, I thought everyone should see it, so into Gen. chat it went..

A brief background.. Porsche 993 6 cylinder powered, this sano Square was featured at a show recently in the UK..
With some wicked features, from carbon fibre bumpers, seats, dash, speaker box, you name it; to tubbed front end and fuel cell in the front.

Doesn't get much more custom than this.
Big $$$. Awesome result.

tidiest I've ever seen:alien

Starbug ·

hmmm... i bet it goes pretty fast does it?:P

Dasdubber ·

Very very nice. So much shiny paint to worry about scratching when you jump in and drive though! Would be stressful owning this baby!

vwombat ·

Don't let Thorun see this one. She'll get an inferiority complex!

Actually, she'll probably print it our and stick it to her ceiling. We all know what she's thinking about in bed!

Cam ·

Who reckons it would be sacriligious (sp?) to put double a arms all around in a real early oval?

OZ Towdster ·

I bet it's real quick espeacialy with the 6 thottle bodies on looks what is possibly a 3lt Porche motor , and nice carbon fibre bumpers too(sorry Jim was so enthralled buy photos i missed fully reading your first post)

Yeah, it's a 3.6. Someone over in the racers forums said it was 400horses or so.

Just a question here. Isn't the steering wheel on the wrong side for an english car?

Anyone know if the car is staying there, or is it off to LA LA Land?

Daniel ·

There's probably more LHD vw's in the UK than right!!! :P

London Bugger ·

It sure is one sweet ride, it won best of show and best type 3. Brian built it purely to win at Volksworld as he was pissed off with never winning, he is the biggest show promoter here in the uk for VW's and hs is a real sound guy. He p*ssed off a lot of prople buy actually buying and breaking a MINT 911 RS.

The T3 has a box fram chassis to so only about the roof is original, but its oh so cool.

I dont think he'll be selling it for a while tho as VolksWorld was its first outing, its not be raced yet but if it is, will let you all know how it goes!!

3.6 993 😉

G'day fellahs!

Nice site! :thumb

Thanks for the kind words about the Square . . . appreciated 😉

Just so's you know . . . it's all 'set up' now (the car was only finished on the morning of the VolksWorld Show) . . . and goes like f*ck!!! :thumb

Please don't assume it doesn't perform or 'drive' well . . .

The corner weights etc. are spot on 😉

I had 153mph out of it on a Rolling Road/Dyno recently . . .

Here's the sheets, hope you can make sense of them:

I also ran a 13-second quarter on the same dyno . . . although I'll get that 'down' with a bit of practice 😉

Just to clarify . . . I actually DID work on the car myself . . . a bit more than the feature suggests 😉

I'm driving it to London Volksfest (UK Show) this weekend . . . can't wait 😎

Love and peace guys

Brian

PHAT BUG ·

Thanks for the update Brian and congratulations on a truly awe inspiring car.

Stanley ·

Hats off Brian...truly unique and a credit to all

Great to see someone thinking outside the square
(Can't believe I said that)

Dannyboy ·

Go the poms!!!! I'll be at BugJam 05 , return trip back home, well i was at BugJam #1!!! Love the T3 !!!

Dan🙂

Kippa-Dee ·

Bloody nice! She's mighty tidy... Looks good! What's with the one wheel missing?

SKEWtYpe3 ·

This car is Nuts ! Loved the article and was waiting for it to pop up on here, didnt take long !

Its FULLY SICK CRAZY !

they take the wheel off and put it on a stand so u can see the extent of the detail, in this case the custom chasis, A arms, discs etc. The Large wheels kinda make it hard to see otherwise

Kippa-Dee ·

ah ok, makes sense. Thanks!
