DNVK are a small VW club based in Newcastle. The club is very unoffical , very new and totally cool (i'm in it ! ) LOL! VW Fool is the co-ordinator and has arranged our next cruise location. I'm here to shout about it!
Sunday 4th July at the Entrance on the Central Coast from 11am . The meeting place is yet TBA but will see us near the water in an ideal park for us all.
In a similar fashion to the youZ cruZ we want to open this up to any forum member and any other clubs that want to show. Alot of people said that August was too long to wait for another cruise so here you go.
Basically half way between Newcastle and Sydney , about 2 hours for us Sydneysiders.
So polish up the dub and come along for a relaxed day , catching up and seeing some cool cars . As ever the more folk that attend and make the effort the better it will be.

Took my mum there when she was here and yes it's a great place. Just watch out when you get there!!! Don't worry about the big pelicans , just watch out for the Old folk. You get a shock off all the synthetic clothing and walking sticks if your not careful!!

the VWHS said in their email that the Entrance car park gets full by 10.30 on sundays, and we should head further on to long-jetty where theres a lot more room, good parking, toilets, even room for a game of cricket and b.b.q. facilitys aswell.

This is a basic idea of whats going on for the next Klub Cruise on Sunday July 4th to the Central Coast.
Newcastle Members will meet at Swansea McDonalds carpark at 9am Sunday morning. thats the Maccas just before the roundabout to get on the freeway.
We will leave McDonalds after 9.30am.
Arrive at The Entrance around 10.30 - 11am.
We'll meet up with the Sydney and Central Coast Crew some where along Marine Parade, theres a big car park facing the water along there.
Hang out, look around and grab some lunch (best fish and chips r at the Entrance).
Around 1230 or 1 we'll cruise around the main strip in The Entrance, then 10km up the freeway in a convoy to Terrigal for a bit of a cruise along the beaches.
After that the Sydney Crew can head back South, and the rest of us back along the freeway in convoy into Newcastle Foreshore for a Dub lineup.
As i said, this is just a rough idea of wats happening, on the day we'll just play it by ear as we go along,

Well Sam i reckon we can sort that one out. From the East i'd be travelling down Anzac Pde and through the tunnel to the North shore. We could meet up and set off from Mackers Kingsford 8.30 am and maybe then hook up with some more over Chatswood way on the way to the Entrance. The more the better as this is always one of the best parts of a cruise and we'll be driving a few K's to get there. I'll see what folk want to do but Mackers as a start 8.30 for sure. If people have mobiles i can always ring ahead for those on route and pick them up as we travel North. Hit the entrance for about 10.30 / 11 . Can't wait!

Looking good , just hope we get a few more driving up from Sydney. We'll be leaving the cruise about 2.30-3 , back to Sydney 5 ish. So far only the 3 of us i think. See what happens.
Whats better than driving along on a sunny , crisp Sunday morning with a heap of other vw's. Doing it when it's warmer but nether the less this is perfect cruising weather aslong as your wrapped up!
This cruise is hopefully bring alot more of us together for a full day's crusing around the place so try and come!

Well just 1 week away so a quick check on whats the go from us in Sydney.
Will leave Kingsford Mackers by 8.30 and head straight down Anzac Pde and through the tunnel to the North Shore
Head for Chatswood and continue on the Pacific Highway #1 and take a slow cruise up to the entrance. Hope to be there about 11 ish.
A few of you were going to meet on route so maybe u2u me and i'll give you my mobile. So far the numbers from Sydney are pretty piss poor which is a shame. Maybe a last minute rush?????
Anyway try and make it , if the weather is like today was it will be a great cruise out!

just got off the phone to the central coast club (steve).
best place to meet is going to be in long jetty at the park, plenty of space, bbqs etc etc.
bring ur own lunch, bring some snags or buy some from the nearby shops.
steve assures me of a great loop thru the entrance, long jetty and terrigal, roads made just for cruising!
everyone should organise to meet there by around 10.30am.
if u look on the map u shuld turn left if ur coming from sydney and right if from newcastle. we will b aprked here along the foreshore, wont b hard to miss.

Thanks Sam , Scott , the Central Coast guys and everyone else! What a turn out!! So good to see so many cars , buggies , splits etc. 30 odd cars is some going for sure. The cruise around the entrance was cool as , funny seeing young kids bursted out in fits of punch buggy!!!!

good cruise guys well done. bummer was i got home and dropped my side kick off. sat round for half hour then started the buggy. got ten meters down the road and it stopped. got fuel got spark but something has come off somewhere. absolutely pissed off. so i will be back out tomorrow to find that problem and bring buggsie back.
well done to the newcastle crew. fool and the gang... congrats for a good day.
