Well finally after a long wait I got up to Brissie, by coach[4hrs] then to only to be told that there were no buses or trains still running at 9pm out to Eagle Farm where the transport depot is.
Was sent from the Roma st. interchange down to Elizabeth st told I'ld get a bus from there, nup!
Then back up to Central Station caught a train part of the way there then a cabbie took me for a lovely SCENIC TOUR finnaly arriving at the depot at around 11pm!
Then for the first time I actually got to see our single cab in the steele[flesh].
A jump start,a wash of the windscreen and a signature at the security office later and we were on our way.
For the next 3.5hrs we got aquainted, no mucking around on my behalf either,straight back to my place, arriving home around 3am with no problems....as you can guess I'm in love!The only thing is I arrived home to be greeted by my beautiful wife awaiting for for my safe return on the 5th of June.
At 6am I was awoken by my loving wife by a huge kiss and a hug and a even bigger thankyou????
Then it dawned on me the 5TH OF JUNE IS HER BIRTHDAY!!!
Oh well it might of been a short relationship between the single cab and I, but the smile on Elizabeths [my wife] face when she tells everone she got a single cab for here b'day more than makes up for it!
ppsst but just between you and me I've still got a thing for the ute and a SPARE KEY!!! :kiss
