i am wondering if anyone would no the legalities of shortening a beetle
it is already a ute......... with no bodywork over the back....... just a tube tray...
i want to turn it baja style....... and just want to know about shortening
will it then be classified as an individually constructed vehic???
or do i just need engineer approval or what????
any info would be great

As silly as it sounds under the current rules as soon as you shorten it, it becomes an ICV

ok thanks.......... and because it is icv........ i need to put all sorts of flashy stuff in like seatbelt lights and stuff right???
