type 3 fastback pop outs have NO hinges..

I posted this post in the for sale by mistake,,, How many of You have seen the type 3 fastback side windows that do NOT have any hinges.... the glass actually bends... thats correct... about 1/3rd of the front of the window glass sits in rubber but when You push out the window catch, 2/3rds of the glass opens out by bending the glass.... Maybe it wasn't popular because no one was game enough to open them 😀😀
But they couldn't have cost much more than a standard glass window.....:tree:rudolf

I have never seen them but will be sure to pay more attention next time I'm near one.

Same piece of glass only pop outs have a hole in them for the catch. How much are they worth? How much you willing to pay? Got a pair in my fastback that dont pop out cos non pop out rubbers are heaps cheaper and I'm a tight-arse.

Pop outs on my Ghia don't have a hinge either 🙂
